Hi, my name is Mandy Cornwell, I should like to welcome you to my holiday rental villas in Chiclana in the Costa de la Luz part of Spain. This is a family run business so it is important to me that your stay is made as enjoyable as possible. There is a 1 bedroom and a 3 bedroom villa to choose from and as these independent villas are situated next to each other larger groups could rent both at a discounted price. Before I left the UK I was a social services registered qualified childminder and also a qualified fist aider and can offer a full and safe Babysitting Service for a nominal fee.
The villas
are just 15 minutes easy drive to beautifully clean sandy beaches. Even the
most popular beach 'La Barrosa' in peak season, has ample cheap car parking
alongside. As for the beach itself, plenty of room to spread yourself out.
In the Summer months there are supervised play areas, including bouncy castles
and trampolines. With a great selection of nearby affordable restaurants and
cafes, a great day can be had by all. A coolbox for your cold beverages and
picnics, fold up chairs, parasols, and beach toys for the kids can all be
rented from me for the day for a nominal cost.
The sea is something else. Being the
Atlantic, it is cleaner than the Mediterranean yet surprisingly warm. Something
to do with warm currents flowing through the straits of
Gibraltar.
It is definitely a few degrees warmer than the sea off the Portuguese Algarve.
For most days days there is some sort of surf running. Kids (and grownups)
can spend hours of safe fun either body surfing, jumping up and down or the
ultimate thrill, riding the surf with a 'body board' (Can be hired from me
for a small fee). When walking into the gently sloping sea know that you're
walking on plain soft sand and nothing else. Not like many of the Mediterranean
resorts where you have to negotiate pebbles, rocks, seaweed and the odd sea
urchin.
For those of you with a more romantic nature, what better way to end the
day than sitting outside one of the beach restaurants, enjoying an Andalucian
meal, perhaps with a glass of local wine and experience one of the most beautiful
red sunsets in Europe, as the sun drops down over the sea.
Of course the beach is not for everyone. No problem. The area has such a great diversity something can be found to suit all needs and tastes. Please use the 'navigation bar' at the top of the page and spend a moment or two browsing the site.
The people are friendly, the climate fantastic and a cheaper cost of living with wonderful fresh food with many local delicacies, makes this area a wonderful place to stay.
